2dae is super exciting lor.hahahahax..woke up went carina house first.hahahahax.suppose to do hwk but end up only doing 3 qns.hahahahax..then after tat we went to eat.i bought mee suaw (dunnoe how to spell) for the first time.nt bad lar.hahahax.went to sch and took the bus to the Parliament house.hahahax..
first.had to go through a series of checks.then they "confiscate" our bags.cause no bags are allowed inside.hahahax.yup.
next.we went to the 3 level to watch a show and wat are the rules and how a meeting is held in the parliament house.quite interesting..hahahax.but alot of things to rmb and it is a very serious thing..whateva u say in the place will be written and recorded down word for word.and they even print them into a book called volumes.so u cant go back on ur word.yup..
after tat we went to tour ard..learnt bout the history and the sequence and all the attire and all the rules and stuff u need to follow when u are inside.its really very interesting man..hahahax.we saw the attire.and i also learnt that the longer ur "wig" is the higher position u have..so cool ! hahax..
following tat saw the maze..its really super nice man..did nt noe tat spore oso have all this stuff.hahahax..its quite cool.but so sad cant take photo inside..hahax.
then we went into the "strangers' " gallery.where u get to observe the sitting..
it is oso veri cool how they communicate in the sitting..they dont say 'yes' in the parliament but 'aye' and 'no' if u do not support.cool rite? then they will hit their arm rest as a symbol when they thk it is a gd speech..cool rite ?hahahahax..
up next, ACTION TIME ! we went in to the Moot Parliament..this is where our real debate about the "Rise in GST ".hahahax.then we were the judges..hahax.then suddenly ms ang call my name.i was like so shock.cause i was reading a piece of paper they passed to us.then they say i am the clerk ! i was like wat ? huh ? super blurr lor.then hafiz and sean went alr.then they ask me go.then i was like why ? huh wat me ?hahahax.then the person explain wat we hv to do and all that.hahahax..and the best thing is we get to wear the robe ! u noe the black robe the wear during the court ? COOL RITE ! ? hahahahax.
i feel so honoured wearing tat lor.at first it was so scary cause i dunnoe wat was going on and it was really scary.hahahax..then we walk to the centre of the moot parliament..
i get to sit on the grand seat.where it is at the centre of the whole hall..
The Clerk of Parliament is a senior civil servant who is also the head of the Parliament Secretariat. The Clerk serves as principal advisor to Speaker and MPs on questions relating to parliamentart law and procedures.
but all i did was to read some lines (which my friends say i read veri soft ? but it was really veri loud at my seat ) hah...maybe cause i was nervous or something ? hahahahahax..
then i took the timing for the whole process. i ring the bell every 2 min and 3 min..so cool rite ? hahahahahax..it was really veri fun.
esp the way the sec 5 NA ppl argue against the rise of GST ! hahahax..u can see some really gd debators and some ok only..hahahax.
it was really really an exciting.enriching.excting.unique experience !
i was glad i was called to act as the Clerk..cause even though it was quite scary at the start but it was really a veri special experience..hahahax.
not everyone get to wear that robe man and sit at that seat man ! hahahax.
but the best is the speaker lar.u get control of the whole sitting..
hahahahahax.
